Upon awakening, Jelenneth discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Jelenneth fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. At some point she was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Kilia was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and many brigands want her driven away

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Miles embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Miles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wants to raise his children well
