History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Shax's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shax was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills.
