Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Tanner who has hired him part-time. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Born to a Carter, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by her family; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: She was born in a small desert village. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
