History: Raiann was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Raiann and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Chay was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Body Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Body Guard work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
