History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hubert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. A true patriot, Zagga would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Orcs in Zagga's homeland. Zagga decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Sarah was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and sabotage a competitor
