His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Gerald is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
