History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Cartwright born in the past three hundred years. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Gûnd was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
