Personality: Sammal wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She got into the Painter business at a young age. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
