History: Born in the south to a Carter, Zook learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Vadania grew up listening to her father's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the east. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She struck the Fletcher job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day
