When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: Hillanot wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Wizard, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Hillanot was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Hillanot took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longsword and armor she uses now. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Junk Dealer for the past few years.
