History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
