History: Born in the north to a Blacksmith, Barendd learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Blacksmith. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Barendd was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order.
