History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Barendd was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Traubon was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital.
