History: He comes from a rich southern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shivering grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shivering. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Lucan's homeland. Lucan decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Being a Guard kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
