History: Born to a Brewer, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Carter mother left him crippled. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a Server, her father struggled to pay the bills. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
