History: He was born in a small plains village. Balam liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has never given up on his singing dream.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Bree and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Bimpnottin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for her
