Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Bethrynna was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bethrynna fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Shanairla and her spouse have recently divorced.
