History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Lucan never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student she started as a Sage, but she got bored and became a Spice Merchant. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
