History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Koeth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he has decided he is irredeemable
