Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: She is an average looking northern female in her early mid-life. She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. Her black crest is thinning but still full. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Hethress took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sai and armor she uses now. She tends to her Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Richard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: He is an average looking southern male in his early mid-life. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length red hair. His red eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Cairn speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Cairn liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a rival would like him out of the picture
