Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A freak accident while working with his Beggar mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
