In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Raiann alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has achieved small success as a Guard.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and balancing her hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
