History: Broce hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Broce alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. During his travels, Broce and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic.
