She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mardred embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Mardred was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Mardred's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Donella was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Donella abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.
