When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mara embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. After a long history of fighting, Mara and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Purah is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Purah fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
