History: Gifted from a young age, Akta studied abroad. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Windy fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Herleva lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She's in love; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears a yellow cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her long red hair reaches down to her waist. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Birel embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Birel never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
