History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This late middle aged woman is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time and is in decent physical shape. She has dyed her greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. Her eyes are a pleasant black.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tiefling conditions. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She wants revenge against brigands; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This slender woman stands about 6'1". She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She wears a feathered hat to hide her balding. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Cloud enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cloud grew up listening to her father's many stories. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Spy and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Sumnes lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Masseuse. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
