History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Matilda was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
