Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Miner profession.

History: Alain hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Dyer business.

History: The child of a Priest, who enjoyed hunting, Eldon was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
