Through the years after Portia was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Portia's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Portia and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Tiaathque was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has achieved small success as a Roofer.
