History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Dalgal was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Dalgal's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Dalgal and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Duergath hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
