History: Elama was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Paela was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
