Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Cloak was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting illithids, the young Nyx began to lead the lost caravan. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.
