History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Melissa grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Melissa was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Melissa decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her painting with anyone who is interested.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Willow grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Willow. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Unvera lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Gifted from a young age, Geoffrey studied abroad. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.
