History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Blacksmith, but he got bored and became a Cartwright. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She wears a brown vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her tan leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her brown boots flare out at the collars. Her blonde hair is smooth and relatively long. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. The war was a terrible time for her, and Gurdis does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Gurdis liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She bought a monstrous two handed axe and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Scribe responsibilities is difficult; and wants to work out more often

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. The war was a terrible time for her, and Nella does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nella fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
