Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has worked as a Unemployed like his father before him.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new unemployed responsibilities is difficult

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. He has achieved small success as a Baker.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to unite with his sister

Description: This southern woman is abnormally tall. She is wearing a long, brown cloak. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her white hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To protect her home.
