Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born into a rich family. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gruk never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. He's also a talented Stableman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Herbalist arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
