Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Gillyd took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up crossbow and armor she uses now. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. The war was a terrible time for her, and Surina does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and to protect her home

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
