She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Mardred took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up halberd and armor she uses now. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and seeks redemption
