History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Unemployed.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
