He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Zanna was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.
