Description: He wears just a black suit. He is physically well-built. His silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. This white eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Valafar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Valafar. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This man likes to wear ponchos typically of a light black in addition to tight pants. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized ruby on his left hand. He has wavy blue crest. His eyes are a pleasant gold.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Kerkad enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gifted from a young age, Kerkad studied abroad. Kerkad was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Kerkad decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He has a large red mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his black robe. He wears his red hair up. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he usually wears his grey robe and has his shortspear always slung over his shoulder. His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are brown.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Being a Cartwright kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he has decided he is irredeemable
