History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nija was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature morningstar.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sage they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mason, and he later adopted a second daughter.
