She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Matilda and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Purban was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He worked as a nervous Mayor and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Soapmaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
