Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dragonborn companion (her 'brother'). She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
