Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'1" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He wears his white hair down. His eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Map Maker business.

History: Varis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is wearing a tight red one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He has all his life been fascinated with music.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he's in love

Description: She wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her brown eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
