Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small violet clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Varis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Courier they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Animal Trainer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Mortician business.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Yvonne will drive conversation. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born to a Layabout, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She struck the Soapmaker job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: To unite with her brother.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
