Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Erias hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Erias is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Trail was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a miner and was forced into it by his family
