History: Born in the south to a Shoemaker, Shamil learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Shoemaker and found it very stressful. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born in the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cockaby grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cockaby. Being a Fisher kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
