The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Bardryn took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor she uses now. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
